This Terms of Service is effective as of June 2, 2008.
By using this website you agree that you are bound to the following terms & conditions.
Description of the brokerz service (brokerz.com)
- brokerz is absolutely free of charge to use.
- borkerz enables you to send and receive near to real time private, group or public messages about your personal thoughts an feelings regarding financial markets.
- You can follow other registered users on brokerz and they can follow you.
- If you are following someone, then you belong to their network and so you will receive their "network" messages.
- You can, of course, block anyone following you, from reading your messages for any reason at any time. Obviously, the same applies for users that you follow.
- Network Messages: Other users can view your messages when they follow you. You can view other user messages when you follow them.
- Private Messages: You can send private messages directly for a specific user if they are following you.
- Public Messages: You may optionally declare, at the discretion of brokerz, that your messages can be made available on the brokerz.com home page at any time for viewing by unregistered visitors (general public).
General Terms
- You must be over the age of 18 to use the service.
- You are responsible for all your activity while using, or based on using brokerz.
- You must provide true, accurate and complete registration information.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You must not abuse, harass, threaten, impersonate or intimidate other users.
- You may not use the brokerz service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose and you agree to comply with all local laws relevant in your country of use and your country of residence in regard to legal content that you generate through brokerz.
- You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, information, screen names, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, links ("content") that you submit, post, link to, and display on the brokerz service.
- You must not modify, adapt or hack brokerz or modify another website so as to falsely imply that it is associated with brokerz.
- You must not create or submit unwanted, irrelevant, unsolicited emails to any brokerz.com users ("Spam").
- You must not transmit any worms, viruses or any code of a destructive nature or attempt submit any input designed to manipulate the brokerz.com databases through its data input fields provided or via customized URL sequences.
- Under no circumstances does brokerz.com endorse any user messages in any way. If you make any descissions based on the content of messages issued on brokerz, then you do that on your accord, free will and better judgement. You will not hold brokerz responsible for the descissions you make based on the content messages issued by yourself or other users on brokerz.
General Conditions
- We reserve the right to modify or terminate the brokerz service for any reason, without notice at any time.
- We reserve the right to alter these Terms of Use at any time. If the alterations constitute a material change to the Terms of Use, we will notify you via Internet mail according to the preference expressed on your account. What constitutes a "material change" will be determined at our sole discretion, in good faith and using common sense and reasonable judgment.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
- We may, but have no obligation to, remove Content and accounts containing Content that we determine in our sole discretion are unlawful, offensive, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable or violates any party's intellectual property or these Terms of Use.
- We reserve the right to reclaim user names on behalf of businesses or individuals that hold legal claim or trademark on those user names.
Copyright
- We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide to the brokerz service. Your profile and materials uploaded remain yours. You can remove your profile at any time by deleting your account. This will also remove any text and images you have stored in the system.
